Our Story

Tracy Durden - Flute

Owners, Bruce and Pat Jackson were destined to open a business someday that represented who they were and what they were born to do in life. The arts for both of them began at an early age. Bruce has been an accomplished percussionist for the last 30 years, performing all over California.

Pat has been a successful artist for the last 26 years and a teacher for 15 years. She also developed an after school curriculum called, Art Rules that she taught for 8 years in the public school system.

The Jacksons believe that the arts are an important component of the academia world and feel that they play an important part in the development of a well rounded individual. The schools in our communities don't seem to agree with this opinion, with cuts in music and art. What would societies be without the arts?

M.J. Studios is a unique experience, with music and art in one location for the whole entire family. In our art gallery we offer a relaxed atmosphere with a beverage and snack cafe. We also have a small music store that carries accessories and books; music and art. Our teachers are all highly qualified professionals with degrees, who will customize their lessons to the student's ability, and all of our teachers are background checked and finger printed.
